Oh Noooooooo...

Saw "Shootem' Up" with Clive Owen. I know, I know...but I thought it might be a fun romp with guns and clever dialogue. No. No, no, no, no, no. First of all, my biggest pet peeve is when filmmakers try to SHOCK the audience by being SHOCKING! Or try to OFFEND by being OFFENSIVE! Look, it's 2007. Nothing is shocking or offensive anymore...just annoying and stupid when trying to shock and offend. So, I walked out with a roll of my eyes and a big yawn.
I went shopping/browsing instead (no buying!) and saw the new Charley Harper book at Anthropologie...finally! I have not been able to see the book except online and it's fan-TAS-tic. It's $200 and I want it. I want it, I want, I want it!
