All You Need Is Love...

Finally saw "Across The Universe" which I'd been really wanting to see because I'm a big fan of Julie Taymor's visuals. I didn't expect a strong story and figured the covering of Beatles songs would be a little clunky. Right on both accounts, but I will say they did a much better job with the songs than I expected AND the visuals did not disappoint. C'mon, you've got the 60's, anti-war themes, art, music, hippies, Eddie Izzard as Mr Kite, Bono..it was awesome.

B+

Wish I'd been in my early twenties during the height of the whole 60's vibe. I would have made an excellent hippie.
