Movies Movies Movies
I saw great films this weekend.
THE DEPARTED: Scorsese at his brutal best. Great, gritty acting by everyone---but i always love small standout scenes from Alec Baldwin. And he delivers them. I give it an A.
THE QUEEN: I'm telling you, if Helen Mirren doesn't win an Oscar for best actress on this one, then shut down the Academy. She's absolutley wonderful. Wardrobe, hair and makeup is impeccable as well. I give it an A.
LITTLE CHILDREN: I read this book and completely forgot how very dark and twisted the characters are in the story. But very well executed and well acted. Bit long tho. I give it a B+.
Thank God fall is here.
